The beast would appear at the start of each new year and was thus given the name Nian which also means Year. In time the villagers discovered that the beast was afraid of extremely loud noises, bright light and the colour red.

They made their own model of the beast and two fearless villagers took their place within it. The rest set off firecrackers and banged drums and gongs. It worked and Nian returned to the mountains leaving the villagers unmolested. Today Nian is represented by the Lion Dance which you can see at Chinese New Year festivals accompanied by loud firecrackers and red lanterns

Legendary Battle of the Nian - Slot Game Features

Cascading reels
After each win, winning symbols are removed and new symbols cascade onto the reel. The cascading mechanic continues until no additional winning combinations are possible.

Wilds
Wilds substitutes for all symbols except Scatters. Battle of the Nian:

? 3 or more Scatter symbols triggers the Battle of the Nian feature and awards 15 Free Games. Each position with a triggering Scatter symbol becomes a level 1 firework position.
? When additional scatters land, they will upgrade the poisition, up to a maximum level of 3.
? At the end of the Battle of the Nian Feature, all activated positions will pay out according to level reached.

? If all positions are upgraded to level 3, the Prize of 5000x bet is paid out.

Feature buy allows the player to immediately trigger the Battle of the Nian Feature and awarding 15 free spins. The cost to activate is equal to 60x total bet.

Legendary Battle of the Nian - How to Play

To play the game, the player simply sets bets and hits the spin button to spin the reels. The game pays based on 243 ways. If player manages to hit at least 3 matching symbols on 3 reels from the leftmost reel, a win is awarded.
